Mitchell Williams received notification that he qualified to represent Hillcrest Christian School in the state level contest of the National Geographic Bee. In February, Mitchell also won the seven-school ACSI-sponsored Geography Bee held in Simi Valley

Tuesday, March 2nd MS girls won the 2010 Championship game against Pleasant Valley 36-30! A huge thank you goes out to Coach Hermosillo. We appreciate all his help and his dedication to our team.

Booster Club

Parents, please come join us at 1:00 in the conference room on Tuesday, March 9, to learn how you can get involved in Hillcrest athletics. We are excited about the future growth and success of our athletic program, but we need your help to make it happen.

The JOG-A-THON is coming!

On Thursday, April 15, the HCS PFA and Boosters Club will partner together to provide another fantastic school wide event ... JOG A THON. Fifty percent of the proceeds will go directly to Boosters to purchase athletic equipment, update athletic uniforms, and provide funding for other athletic expenses. The remaining proceeds will go toward phases 2 and 3 of the much needed auditorium upgrades. These improvements will include fresh paint, house lighting, and stage upgrades.

Anticipation is building for this all-day event. Our new art teacher Mrs. Beal, has already begun to facilitate a JOG A THON t-shirt design contest. Please encourage your children to participate. Also, an exciting lunch and cool treats are being coordinated.

Volunteers are needed NOW. What better way to complete the 20 hours of required service hours as our school year comes to a close? Watch for further planning meetings or contact Sherrie Ehman, PFA Vice President, to get involved.

For a minimum donation, you can be an EVENT SPONSOR. A family sponsorship is $100.00; a corporate/business sponsorship is $500.00. Please contact Wendy Rettinger to get involved.
